inspiration

I had a lot of inspiration for this card.  The Hero Arts Blog challenged us to find inspiration from one of the blog-a-day winners and Lucy Abrams inspires me constantly with her cards. I found this card of hers simple and yet so elegant.

CI55swatchAlong with the Hero Arts challenge this qualifies for the Color Inspiration #55 and Caardvarks challenges.  I found the color combination so awesome, but had a hard time using them.  Caardvarks challenge this month is to create a window card.  The top label frame is popped up like you are looking through a window.

The butterfly is stamped on patterned paper with grey ink and then heat embossed with clear powder.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look.
