Ok, I know.  I know I have a problem and I just can’t seem to get over it right now.  I just want to emboss EVERYTHING.  I’m addicted to embossing.  Please don’t judge me for it.

This flower stamp is from my newly delivered Unity October Kit of the Month.  It was just begging to be made into this card.  This is going to go into my sympathy card stash.  I debated a long time about adding a sentiment (thinking of you, in my thoughts, with sympathy), but I just like the simple statement of the blank front and will add fitting message to the inside.

I stamped the flowers with Versamark and then embossed with black fine detail embossing powder.  Anyone else ALWAYS forget to swipe with a dryer sheet or embossing buddy????  I did and always do.  Frustrating since the fine detail powder is so sticky.  Arg.  But I cleaned it up the best I could before heating.  Then I highlighted areas with a white gel pen.  Gives it a little something.  This is the first time I tried the ribbon folding technique.  It was not so easy and there has to be a better way than mine.  Maybe with some more practice I’ll get the hang of it.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look.

Sure… I laid down a strip of tape adhesive and then created little loops (about the size around a pencil or a little smaller) and kept going laying the loops to the left. I placed a huge book on top to get it to stick as much as possible. After I took the book off, wherever I felt like it needed a little more glue I dabbed some liquid glue under and between the loops. I used Quick-Dry Adhesive by Scotch (kinda like tacky craft glue)… LOVE THIS STUFF! Then I put the book back on for about 10-15 more minutes.
