trying something new…

{this is post #2 for today… if you are looking for the FWF scroll down one}

{supplies: pp – K & Company; stamps – Hero Arts; ink – Colorbox; ribbon – Michaels; other – rhinestones, Zig marker, Glossy Accents, embossing powder}

Ok, so I tried something way out of my comfort zone!!!  Papertrey Ink has a challenge to do the emboss resist technique.  Well, I tried.  I embossed over the stamp image and then used a tissue to add the ink over the areas I wanted.  Then, I went back and wiped it clean with a baby wipe.  Turned out ok, I suppose.  I sure hope it is lucky because I really want to win some Papertrey Ink stamps.  I do not have any yet and I really love the designs.

I use the colors from the current Embellish challenge to use pink, turquoise and brown with ribbon.

Lucy’s new challenge is up… use polka dots!  Done!  hee hee.

What a week.  I have been in and out of work with a cold.  Today I went to the doctor and came home with antibiotics for a sinus infection.  I sure hope this makes me feel better soon.  *Ugh*
