hello friday…

It is Friends with Flair {FWF} Friday at UNITY… a day full of inspiration from Unity Stampers. The list of participating Friends with Flair hoppers can be found at the Unity Blog. Just a hint… someone has a secret blinkie that could win you some awesome Unity rubber when you leave a comment on that post!!!!

{supplies: cs – Georgia-Pacific; kraft (Bazzill); pp – Sugar Rush (Basic Grey); stamps – Could I be any Cuter?, July 2009 KOM, December 2009 KOM (Unity), ink – Colorbox; nesti – Blossom; punch – Corner Chomper}

Ok, so this is part my style and part “who the heck made this card”?  Ha ha!  Sponging and shading with ink is generally not my thing!  But I love how using the nestabilities die cut as a mask looks when you ink the inside.  So I gave it a go.

This is inspired by a few challenges this week.  All Things Unity challenged a “green” card.  It had to have the color green (check) or use scraps (check) or use recycled materials (nope).  Two out of three isn’t too bad.  I also got the inspiration from the SCS Clean and Simple challenge this week for all things New York.  I was inspired by this beautiful central park picture of Cherry Blossom trees by Andrew Prokos.

Have a great weekend!
