6.6.2010 – Limelight Project Parade

It is June… JUNE!!!!  I can’t believe how fast this year is going! I don’t think I am ready for June yet. haha.

And since it is the 6th of June… that means it is time for another super fun Limelight Papercrafts Project Parade.
All the Limelight Chicks have a wedding themed project to show you today.

My hubby and I got married in Vegas.  Totally my style… quick and easy with no fuss.  I didn’t have a wedding dress and we had french toast instead of a wedding cake!  haha.  Honestly, I loved it and will always remember that day!

So, I never made wedding favors and couldn’t wait to make this table setting set for this month’s theme!!!

The placeholder card:  How super elegant and easy is this???  I just folded a rectangular piece of cardstock in half and printed the name using my computer.  I used a scallop punch for the circles and added a monogram using the White Chocolate Piper Microchip letters.

The tag: The tag is made from the cut-out from the top of the box.  I used a Spellbinder scallop square die to cut a window and layered some pattern paper on top.  I used the “to have & to hold” stamp from the {Life is Fabulous} stamp kit.  I also added a twill black ribbon bow.

The Box:  I used THIS digital file from the Cutting Cafe to create a candy bar favor box.  I printed it out on some copy paper, cut it out the same size as my pattern paper and then used my score tool.  Super easy.  The pattern paper is from Me & My Big Ideas (I have had it FOREVER).

The card:  Of course I had to make a wedding card.  I thought the tag was so cute from the box, that I had to use it as a wedding card embellishment as well.

And… Be sure to visit the Limelight Papercrafts creative blog on Thursday, June 10, for our next Sketch and Product Challenge! We will focus on using Butterflies, and one lucky winner will receive a grab bag containing 5 yards of ribbon (1 yard each of five styles)!!

The Limelight Chicks have amazing project to share this month… you won’t want to miss them.  Lynn is up next.
