11.22.2010 – H{ippity} Hop

It is H{ippity} Hop time!!!

This week Stephanie challenged us to create an ORNAMENT using Ippity stamps.

I used the Season of Joy stamp set to create this four sided ornament.  I stamped the label shape 4 times, filled them in with some fun stamps and glued them together.  Topped with a red satin bow for a very clean and elegant style.

I am the first to admit to being very simple.  You have probably noticed that in my style of cards.  And, it carries over to my holiday decorations.  I love to decorate my tree in just 2 or three colors.  Never a hodge podge.  Ew. Ha-ha, just kidding.  Don’t ask me why, but I like it to be crisp and clean.  My tree always has a combination of white, black, silver or red.  Depending on my mood!  Ha-ha, it really doesn’t vary much, so when I decided to create this ornament, that is the color scheme I had in mind.

I love them.  I made 4 and will put them on the tree this year.

Check out the full list of Hippity Hoppers on the Ippity blog.  Don’t forget to leave some love too.  A random blog commenter will be chosen from all Hippity Hop participants to win a free prize from Ippity!  Woo Hoo!

What a fabulous ornament! My mom does her Christmas is only 2 colors. she bought a white tree so she can just do a bright ornament and present color to make it pop! This year is RED! I think your ornaments would look great on her tree!
