12.24.2010 – Friends with Flair and Limelight

It is Friends with Flair {FWF} Friday at UNITY… a day full of inspiration from Unity Stampers. The list of participating Friends with Flair hoppers can be found at the Unity Blog. Just a hint… someone has a secret blinkie that could win you some awesome Unity rubber when you leave a comment on that post!!!!

Merry Christmas Eve!!!

I wish everyone a wonderful time with your friends and family.

For my card… I’m playing along with the Limelight Papercrafts sketch challenge this week.  The focus is to use buttons along with this sketch.  I decided to move and decrease the buttons.  Make sure you check out the Limelight blog for the DEETS.  There is a fabby prize up for grabs.

Make sure you check out the Limelight Papercrafts store as well… Mandy is closing up shop so there are some fabby deals going on.

Can you believe this is the first time I have used Webster’s Pages paper???  Lets just say I’m new to the vintage style and I’m liking it! I think the Happy Birthday to You stamp from the Party Hat Wishes {ippity} set is just perfect for this style!  Amazing how it is so versatile.

stamps: Party Hat Wishes {ippity}
patterned paper: Hollywood & Wonderfall paper pad {Webster’s Pages}
punches: label {EK Success}
other: buttons {Basic Grey}, score tool {Martha Stewart}

    Beautiful card! The scored lines at the top are so simple, but add a lot to the design.

    Hey! LOVE the card! I purchased 3 sets several months ago. They don’t have labels to put on the rubber side that match the rubber design – is that how Uppity stamps come?

    Thanks,

    Very nice birthday card like that you used kraft cardstock. I’m into making birthday cards right now so thanks for the idea. stamping sue
