{1.24.2011} Hippity Hop day

The FINAL twist was revealed today on the Ippity blog.  Did you see it?
If not, can you guess what it might be from my card?

The final TWIST is to use some BRADS.

This twist actually inspired more than just what type of embellishment I would use on my card.  The brads {which have been patiently waiting to be used since the VERY start of my crafting adventure} made me think about what else I haven’t done in a while.  Clean and simple is my usual style, but lately I have been trying to push myself to do more involved cards, try new styles and lots of different techniques.  When I saw the brads, this card just popped into my head and I went back to my roots.  So simple.  Straight up stamping, a little stitching and ribbon… done.

I also grabbed an Ippity set, The Simple Things, that hasn’t seen the SPOTLIGHT in while too.

Here is a reminder of the all the challenges for January.

You can do any of them, in a any combination or individually.  I am totally LOVING what everyone has created so far.  You have until Sunday night to get your entries in for the awesome grand prize.

Lisa H. is next and I’m sure she will knock your socks off!

stamps: The Simple Things {Ippity by Unity}
cardstock: Bazzill Basics
other: brads {Making Memories}, ribbon {Offray}
