{1.7.2011} Friends with Flair

Hello Friday Friends!

Last week’s challenge on the CREATE blog was to create a card with a banner.  Well lucky for me Ippity has the COOLEST happy banner from the Fall 2010 release.  You can find it in the Party Hat Wishes set.  I paired it with some more stamps from Fall for You and Here and Now.  {Ippity stamps are only available from an Ippity Chick… you can find one HERE.}

I have HIGH hopes for 2011!

I really want to post more on the old blog and make more Create a Card videos.  That is the plan, though I have already hit a snag this week!  Ha.  It seems my technology doesn’t like 2011 as much as I do.  I’ve spent a lot of time fiddling with computers and printer and not so much crafting.  So, I am not as far ahead as I had planned, but that is ok!  I have all year to catch up!

PLUS, I am continuing on with my challenge to create 100 cards before I purchase any new products.  I have LOTS of stamps, paper and embellishments that need some LOVE.  Thanks Ashley for the idea!  So far I am up to 25.  Whoa, I better kick things up a notch!!!

So here is the Create a Card Video… hope you enjoy and have a wonderful weekend.  AND I am so excited, I just found out today that I can now do videos longer than 10 minutes!!! Woo hoo.  Now, I won’t have to do so much editing in the future!

I’ll be back on Monday with a new card for H{ippity} Hop too!

stamps: Party Hat Wishes, Fall for You, Here and Now {ippity by Unity}
patterned paper: Webster’s Pages 6×6
die cuts: labels 1 {spellbinders}
punches: apron border punch {Fiskars}
other: liquid pearls {Ranger}, Bloomer {Webster’s Pages}
