{3.17.2011} Assemble This!

Happy St. Patty’s Day!

Did you remember to wear GREEN today???  heehee

Even though I’m not Irish, I used to LOVE corned beef.  I don’t eat beef anymore, but my hubby does.  So, I still like to make corned beef and cabbage.  I’ll eat the cabbage.  YUM!  So that is going in the crock pot today and I’ll make a loaf of Irish brown bread to go with.  I LOVE holidays that FOCUS on food.  Ha!

Enough of my silly food talk and let’s get to the card I have to share today.

I am bad, I didn’t make a card with a shamrock, but instead with buttons!  At least it has a little green on it.  Ha.

The Create: Blog! card challenge this week was to use 10 or more buttons on your card.  Well, I might have fudged it a little and STAMPED more than 10 buttons on my card.  But that is how I roll.

I’m using the sew cute Unity Stampin’ Store kit.

If you’d like to watch along as I Assemble This! {card},
I have a video for today as well.

stamps: sew cute {unity stamp co}
patterned paper: a walk in the park {echo park}
punches: label {ek success}
other: ribbon {celebrate it!}, button {autumn leaves}, baker’s twine {Twinery}, ink {close to my heart}

    Oh, that’s hilarious that you stamped your buttons instead of using actual buttons. I never would’ve thought of doing that myself. I love it!!

Your comments really make my day, thank you!
