{3.14.2011} twist challenge week 3

Woo hoo, week 3!

It is week 3 for the Hippity Hop Twist Challenge and that means we have a photo to inspire us!

I love the colors in this photo and I took inspiration from the flowers as well.

I used the Faith Blooms and Music of my Heart {ippity} stamp sets.  I’ve been pulling out some of the older kits.  I don’t think I have used this flower yet.  But don’t quote me on that!  🙂  Giving some love to the oldies but goodies.

I stamped it multiple times and then used some watercolor pencils to add the pops of color.  I didn’t follow my own tip and used a water based ink.  Not smart!  Make sure you grab for some Stazon or something similar.  So I had to be extra careful not to smear the stamped images.  It still turned out in the end.

Lisa H. is up next with her fabulous creation!!!

Thinking of You
stamps: Faith Blooms, Music of my Heart {ippity}
