{3.25.2011} take two finale

Hello, I have lots to share today.  Get READY!

Today is the last day of Take Two Week.  Emily and I each shared a card every day this week using the same stamp sets.  Today, we have 3 to share with you and for our Unity Friends with Flair.

Today’s stamp set is all about February’s kit of the month.

We decided to focus on the bee, the bird and the bike with balloons.

This little mini card uses the Lacey Squares Spellbinder die for the card base.  I’m going to say this is a bee, but sometimes it really looks like a fly to me.  Flies do not have long antennas right?  Anyway, I’m going with a bee because it works better with the sentiment.  Ha.  I had so many different ideas for this stamp set, but finally settled on this design.  I’m going to have to make the others soon!

This one uses some Christmas papers by Cosmo Cricket.  I just love the color combo and thought it would be a fun take on this stamp combo.  I’m kinda stuck on this design lately.  I’m loving the off center panel thing.

I absolutely adore this card and THIS stamp!  I have a feeling this might be Emily’s favorite too… she has a bit of a fondness for bicycles.  Ha.  I decided to keep it really simple so it could be used for so many occasions.  I’m also using the Sunny Happy Skies Bella Blvd clouds in this one.

the best is yet to be

There are so many FANTASTIC images in this kit!  If you haven’t check out Unity’s kit of the month program you MUST!  For just $26 you get ALL these stamps and the quality and images are AMAZING!  Here is a peek at the March kit of the month….

You probably guessed it, we have the best is yet to be kit of the month to give away TOO!!!  Isn’t that awesome!

SO… We have 6 stamp sets and 2 watermarks to give away from comments left this week.  We’ll be announcing the winners on both our blogs SUNDAY.

Take Two, Day 1: Cuppy Cakes
Take Two, Day 2: My Dear
Take Two, Day 3: Birdie Duet
Take Two, Day 4: Bella Fiori
Take Two, Day 5: The Best is Yet To Be

A gigantic HUGE thank you and a great big HUG to Emily.

Hiya Lisa! ALL cards are awesome! I have become a huge fan of your style. Thanks so much for all the inspiration you and Emily gave to me this week. (I think Emily´s fondness about bicycles is way more than a bit ). Have a great day! Janna

    Hello Lisa,
Wow! another set of brilliant cards! I love them all. The first with teal dotty paper and black with the be sentiment, clever! The second with light blue and deep red is gorgeous again I like the sentiment! Your last card, I love kraft and balloons, it’s just perfect.

Oh, fantastic cards! Love them all — the stamping on patterned paper, the colors, the clouds on tape — so fab! What a fun week!

(PS: this kit is already in my house, so I don’t need to win it :))

How cute all of your cards are–I also love the bee, and when I really looked at it, it did SOMEWHAT resemble a fly. But I like bees a lot, and flies not so much, so I’m going to consider it a bee!
