{5.2.2011} new Unity KOM

May 2011 KOM – think happy thoughts

You know what time it is… time to drool over the new Unity kit of the month!

Yummy, right?
There are quite a few images I can’t wait to do something with, but the circle and flower caught my eye first!

This is the Moxie Fab Trigger this week… LOVE POLKA DOTS!  So, I also used this as inspiration for today’s card.

I decided to try a bit of a different color palette for a sympathy card and am really happy with how it turned out.  The moxie fab trigger inspired the use of the polka paper and the color tone.  This flower and circle stamp is going to be a serious favorite of mine.

Thanks for stopping by and I’ll be back later this week with some more Unity goodness.

stamps: think happy thoughts {unity}
patterned paper: oliver collection {basic grey}
die cuts & punches: lacey circles {spellbinders}, label punch {ek success}
other: white gel pen {uniball}, white embossing powder, ribbon {offray}, string, charcoal chalk ink {colorbox}

    Love the card and especially the flower with turned down leaves – definitely shows the sadness. Hard to find words to express sympthay and yet the colors show the end is not all sad – bubbles of joy surround the words. Well done.
