Sweet Fox

Quick post for today.  I am so behind on projects.  Ha.  I started this over the weekend and finished it Wednesday night.  Whew.  Here is a funny.  I punched out that label background and forgot all about that bracket being part of the punch.  Opps.  At first I thought, darn, I’m going to have to redo the whole thing.  But then I kinda liked the effect.  So, I’ve hemmed and hawed about submitting this to the FOX challenge on the Create: Blog.  In the end, I did.

I hope to have something up for FWF, but to be honest, it might not be until Saturday (ahem, or Sunday).

BIG holiday sale going on at Unity.  Check out the blog for all the deets and half the Unity DT is hopping too!!!

I think the bracket was quite the happy accident – it may not have been intended, but it’s a very cool addition 🙂

I like how the bracket gives the sweet fox a roof over his den. What a feast for the eyes of patterned papers, too!

LOVE this cute card, Lisa! Sometimes the fun part (for me anyway) of the creative process is to be able to put interesting pieces together. I love how you used your paper “scraps/extras” for this design! Congrats on the CREATE Blog feature!

Soooooo cute, Lisa! Your story about the punch is funny, especially because when I saw it on the CREATE blog, I really liked the bracket. The fox is super cute–did you paper piece him or kiss him (sounds strange!)? Whichever, it’s a very cool look! Love those papers!! Hope you get caught up this weekend. 🙂
