{6.29.2012} friends with flair

Yes, Friday!

Oh happy day my Friends with Flair Unity peeps.  I’ve been waiting for Friday all week!  Hee hee.  I sure wish the holiday (July 4th) landed on Monday for a long weekend.  Oh well, guess I’ll just have to take Monday and Tuesday off to make it so.  Ha.  Yippee, a SUPER looooooong weekend!!!

Isn’t the current Unity Stamp of the Week darling!  Those paper lanterns remind me of summer parties.  It is super hot here in Arizona and the best time to be outside is at night since it MAY get down to 100 degrees or less if we are lucky.  So summer parties happen at night and thus paper lanterns are a festive must.

They are paper pieced and popped up with little twine streamers.  And the sentiment can be used for just about ANYTHING!  What a fabulous stamp.

The papers are digital again.  I can’t remember what Echo Park set I grabbed them from.  I forgot to write it down.

Thanks for stopping by and remember to head back to the Unity blog to visit the rest of the Friends with Flair.

Eek! I love all the COLOUR and those sweet lanterns! If we were outside much at night we’d be eaten alive by mosquitoes (or drowning in repellent…) but at least it’s not as hot. Since someone has to say it (right? *crickets chirping*) at least it’s a dry heat. Hardehar, har.
