{8.11.2012} raise the curtain…

TIME for the SHOW to BEGIN!

It is our FIRST EVER challenge for The Cameo Spotlight.
I’m so excited, I just can’t hide it!  Lol.  Oh boy, somebody stop me before I lose control.

What a great start!  Summer fun… lots of ideas to spark your creativity.

When I hear the word SUMMER, I immediately think of sunshine.  Basic word association.  Summer = time to have some fun in the SUN.  I’m using some amazing Echo Park digital elements.  I opened them in the Silhouette Studio software, traced them and the treated them like a print and cut file.  I have to tell you, I squealed a little when all my elements were separated and cut by my Cameo.  I hardly had to do anything.  The card base, my clouds, the sun and the sentiment all printed and cut for me.  How awesome is that???  LOVE this machine.  I used one of my favorite Hero Arts chevron background stamps on the card base before I layered everything on top.

Check out all the great projects from the design team on The Cameo Spotlight blog.
Hope we inspire you to play along.
This machine is so much fun.

This is SO cool! I’ve got to learn more about my Cameo — I know it can do so much more than I know, and Print and Cut is something I really want to learn how to do. Will you ever do tutorials using this Cameo Spotlight challenge group?

Wow, I’m impressed, Lisa! I have a Silhouette but have never done that before! Too chicken I guess! I would’ve squealed, too if I’d have managed that! It turned out so dang cute!

Lisa, this is just about the sweetest thing ever! I love the cloud in front of the sunshine (I see that a lot in real life here in WA – LOL). Super cute design, girlie!
