Stamp of the Week Unity Stamp Company

{5.24.2013} new stamp of the week for dads

DAD – don’t look.

{Unless you don’t want the surprise.  Mom, don’t let him look.  Heehee.}
I’m bloggin’ on the Unity blog today and wanted to share it here as well.

I’m using this week’s stamp of the week.  This is such a fun program.  For just $5.79, you get a brand new stamp delivered every week.  I just love getting that little envelope every week.

Lots of great father related stamps, right?  It is a great basic sentiment set that can be combined with almost any image.  LIKE…

what the buck

Don’t they go together like peas and carrots?
My dad is a hunter, fisher, camper and backpacker.
These WILD images are so perfect for him.

I needed a gift card holder so I used my Petaloo flowers to decorate one.

I’m not a big technique freak, so this was super fun for me.  I brought out my spray inks and went to town.

First, I used some spray ink to cover the leaves.  Then, I unscrewed the top off the yellow spray ink and used the plastic part to dab on yellow ink.

After that dried, I used my favorite background stamp giving it all meaning to stamp over it in black.  Last, I added a black belly band around a kraft bag, cut a little tag and stamped the sentiment from the April 2013 KOM – you make my heart puffy.

Feeling pretty good to be this far ahead for Father’s Day!  Woo hoo, go me!
Have a great day!

Great cards. Perfect for Father’s Day or for any masculine card need.

  6. Great card and gift card holder!

  7. Fantastic Lisa, that buck stamp is incredible! Spray inks and me don’t mix so well… I get palpitations every time I add them to a finished design lol!

  8. OH MY GEE WHAT THE BUCK? That really needs to go on a card 😉 I am in love with how you did the leaves -so much texture & depth! And that buck is awesome 🙂
