[unity stamp co] unity thursday

Unity Thursday

Hi friends.
It is Thursday and that means the Unity design team is hopping again.  If you have been hopping you should be arriving from Joslyn‘s blog, if not, all the action starts on the Unity blog.  As always there are amazing deals to be had… all the shopping details are available on the Unity blog.

It is the SECOND Thursday of the month and time to start a new Unity {be inspired} Challenge.

The challenge may be Halloween themed, but that doesn’t mean your project has to be for Halloween.  These colors are FAB for any type of celebration.

IMG_1057_dahlhouse

I thought I’d see how it would turn out if I didn’t do a Halloween card but with those Halloween colors.
I’m diggin’ it.
What do you think?  Do the purple and orange feathers make you smile or make you go huh?  ha.  I like the unexpected colors for this simple card.  I didn’t want to add another color outside the inspiration photo for the background stamp.  I tried a couple different ink colors, but in the end, I just went with clear embossing powder.  I like how it mimics the brick in the inspiration photo.  You can find those feathers HERE, the background stamp HERE and that sentiment HERE.

** COMMENT PRIZE **
Don’t forget to leave a comment on each blog today.
Unity is always so GENEROUS with their prizes.
You could win this PACKAGE of stamps (worth $150).

That is all from me, head on over to the amazing Renee next!!!!

Here are the list of blogs hopping today.
