[1.6.2014] so thankful

So Thankful

Time to get into a groove.  I’ve had so many irons in the fire, I’ve let the blog get a little quiet.  I probably won’t be back up to speed for a bit longer.  I still have a lot of little projects going on that take me away from the blog.  But, I have good intentions on breathing new life into this little blog of mine.

The brand new Unity stamp of the week is out and I’m inking it up.
Isn’t it pretty.

Thoughtful Bouquet

I stamped the pretty flowers in a vase on a doily cut from my Cameo.  I’m using a textured cardstock, so the image didn’t stamp very clean.  I like the effect though.  It almost looks water colored.  I colored in the blooms with some Copic markers.

I really like the look of an image stamped on textured paper too! Softens it up and gives it a cool, artsy look! Such a pretty card 🙂

Can’t wait to see what you’ve been up to, things are quiet over in my blog world as well but the real world is buzzing by… I’ve got some serious birthdays happening here, a 21st, 40th, 50th & 70th and none of them are near home, some serious partying happening here! ps love your sweet card.

So very pretty, Lisa! Nothing wrong with taking a little blog break, especially if it gives you time to get caught up on other things. 🙂

Love the soft, watercolor effect on those flowers – it’s perfect for that image! I haven’t been around much lately either but I’m hoping to keep myself more on track and organized this year!
