[12.3.2014] farewell Paper Crafts & Scrapbook Magazine

Farewell PC&S

papercraftshop1

MarchApril_2012-Cover

my first pub

It is a sad day that we are all coming together to say farewell to another crafting magazine.  I’m so sad that Paper Crafts & Scrapbook Magazine is shutting its doors. I have such love for this magazine.  It is an industry standard that not only inspired me, but challenged and blessed me in so many ways.  Beyond being published, the friendships that this magazine has brought me are nearest and dearest to my heart.  My first publication in PC&S (back when it was only Paper Crafts) left me bewildered and honored.  Like so many, I submitted for a long time before that FIRST amazing email arrived tell me my little card was selected to be apart of the March/April 2012 issue.  Squeal, I will never forget that moment when SUSAN OPEL emailed me!!!    And the rest is history.

dahlhouse design | thanks 12.2014

I just want to say THANKS to everyone involved in the PC&S company and community for so many wonderful years.  Especially the employees who made PC&S happen.  We are losing a magazine, but they are losing so much more.  I wish all of them wonderful things and hope that their journey moving forward is blessed because they have blessed the lives of so many.

There are so many of us that want to say thank you and best wishes.  You should have arrived from Maria Fischer’s blog and you are off to Wendy McGaffey’s blog next.  Just in case, you can find the FULL list of hoppers at the bottom of my post. Thank you so much for stopping by.

Great card! A lovely epitaph for a magazine that will be sorely missed. It’s so nice to see someone using patterned paper. I seem to collect 6×6 pads but haven’t used them in quite some time. Nice to see that it’s “okay” to use them again!
