Another month has almost passed by… amazing how quickly its flying by. The Unity design team has gathered together to share what we have been creating for the month of July. If you haven’t been hopping along, all the action starts on the Unity blog.
I have quite a few creations to share with you today. I’ve been playing with some of the amazing releases from this month.
First, I have this set of cards from the Going Wild set paired with the sentiments from So Glad You Were Born. I absolutely adore the owl and fox in this set. And when paired with a simple little card design, I had a set of cards in no time. The coloring took the longest and I did that while watching tv. I couldn’t decide if I like the grey or kraft better, so used both. Easy solution.
Switching gears, here we have a bright and girlie set of birthday cards. Again, I paired the So Glad You Were Born sentiment kit with Unicorns & Rainbows. The background was made with blending some Distress Inks onto cardstock and sprinkled with a bit of water and Unicorn White Spray ink (fitting, yes?). Again, I colored these cute little unicorns while watching TV which helped immensely at assembly time.
Totally changing the subject, now we have a little bit of toilet paper humor. Did you know Unity added some bonus sentiments for Just Stinkin’ Cute. I thought this sentiment was just too darn perfect!!! So cute and funny.
And last, I never showed the card I made my dad for Father’s day. I was pretty happy with how it turned out. It isn’t easy coming up with something new, so I was thrilled with the new masculine stamps from Unity. I paired the Happy Father’s Day from All About Dad with the brand new Best Fishes. Inside, I stamped the sentiment from You are a Classic – “I’ll always remember the things you taught me. But more importantly how much you love me”.
That is all from me today… thanks for hanging in till the end and there is more to see.
