Let’s get wild and crazy…

Or not. Hahaha. I have a fun masculine birthday card to share with you today. I love nature and realistic animal stamps. I also like cute cartoony animals as well but I was so excited to have this buffalo from Unity Stamp Company. He is pretty amazing.

The Details

I am so wild about how this card turned out. I love that buffalo image colored in with Copic markers. I used E53, E57, E59, W4 and N4. I pulled up a picture of an American bison for a color reference. I think I’m pretty close. I fussy cut it out so it could be popped up for a little “action.”

I blended the background with Distress Ink: Peeled Paint, Speckled Egg, Faded Jean, Vintage Photo and Antique Linen. I love the prairie and vintage look it gives the image. I stamped an image of the buffalo on the background and just colored it in simply with the darkest Copic marker.

Then I added a bit of “wild and crazy” to this guy by popping him up with a wobble. It really makes me giggle. I love to see him buckin’ around. Haha.

Thanks for joining me today. I hope you are inspired by today’s project. I had tons of fun creating it and sharing it with you.
