My dear friends I have really procrastinated on this post.  I always have good intentions and then time gets in the way.  Before I know it, over 2 months have passed since I have received most of these cards.  Geez.  It is about time I share them. Owl ornament card

The challenge this week at the Hero Arts blog is trimmings.  I think you can take that to mean a lot of things, but I decided to use up my scraps (trimmings from other projects). This cute guy is for the CPS #139 sketch challenge and the EtsyInspired #60 challenge. The EtsyInspired shop this week is Vivikas.  I loved all the owlies so they are my inspiration for this card.  I noticed a few of them had little decorations like a Care Bear… loved that.  So this one is a birthday owl.  I created my own paper pieced pattern for this owl.  I can’t wait to use him again.
