This is my first hop with the amazing and talented Print Candee creative team!!! Shhhh, don’t tell anyone, but I’m a little nervous but SO excited as well. You should have arrived from the Print Candee blog. We will point you in the right direction as you hop along.
Today our theme revolves around die-cuts. There are so many great ways to use digital products with die-cuts. Today, I’m using a Spellbinder die to create a cutout with some beautiful papers by digital potpourri.

The papers are from the buttercream damasks paper set. So pretty, right? I love that demask pattern and wanted to highlight it with a scallop cutout. I have been working on sympathy cards lately. The soft buttery yellow and kraft color is just somber enough with still having lovely color. I paired it with some Paper Smooches stamps (gently seasoned and sentiment sampler).
It may be cliche, but I almost always include a butterfly on my sympathy cards. I feel a sense of peace and comfort when they are floating on a card. That is what I hope they bring to whomever the card is for. I’ve used a combo of cream half pearls and silver liquid pearls for a little bling and to add to the movement of the butterflies up the card.
We have some GREAT PRIZES to give away: a $10 Print Candee gift certificate and a Spellbinder Pennant die-cut set. Leave a comment on each of the blogs for more chances to win. Contest closes at 11:59pm EST on Saturday, February 18th.
