7.27.10 – heavy heart

It is with a heavy heart I post today.  We are never really ready for a loss.  I was not planning on this card.  It really had a totally different theme in my head.  We lost a dear friend just recently and this card turned more into a necessity rather than just creating.

I had planned on creating a similar card for the Play Date Cafe challenge this weekend, but ran out of time.  So for today, I’m using the wonderful color combo (I really do use this combo a lot, one of my faves) for my sympathy card.  Lots of Ippity and Unity going on here.

Also going to submit to the Moxie Fab World classy & elegant challenge.

Hugs to you and remember to hug those you love.

Loss is never easy not matter what, who, when or where it happens. I am so sorry for your loss and I hope the memories of your loved one fill your heart. Sympathy cards are so hard to make but you nailed it with this one.

So sorry to hear about the reason behind needing to create this card. It is always hard to experience loss — I think especially when unexpected.

The card is truly CAS and elegant — I love the two-tone of the leaves, the dies, and the zig zag embroidery.
