thinking of you…

When you are sorrowful look again in your heart, and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight. – Kahlil Gibran

We all need to make these cards.

I know we do not WANT to make these cards and that is why they are so hard to create.  I keep saying I should just make a bunch up and keep them around.  I think I did, but they were all missing when I needed one.  Must have given them away or used them all.  Recently, I was in need of one and came up with this quick design.  I have plans to make another set up based on this one to be sure to have some on hand again.

  My blogging friend Therese’s CARD inspired me.  She has a fabulous talent with botanical stamps and is a great source of inspiration.

Today, I’m thinking of you.
I appreciate each and every single one of you.  Your lovely and kind words lift my spirits daily and always make me smile.  I sincerely thank you all for that precious gift.

Hugs.

    Hi Lisa, I’m sorry that you had to make a sympathy card. Times like these, words are difficult to find, and a card does bring cheer. Your card is beautiful and I love the colours you used, so soothing and the dandelion ink perhaps symbolises a little sunshine & hope during a tough time. Love the card!! Have a great day, my friend {hugs}

    Such a soft, calming look to this card — perfect for a sympathy card. And you’re right, they’re always tough to make, especially when you need one right away. This one is lovely.
