[10.13.13] wanna sketch reminder

No. 9

Oh gosh, sorry the blog has been so silent.  Amazing how time just slipped away.  I’ve just been busy with life, work and can’t seem to get my little tush into my craft station.  Thank goodness for my crafty friends though.  We all got together yesterday for a fabulous day of food, candy, crafting, laughing and candy.  Yep, I might of had a bit of candy problem yesterday.   Apparently if you put a bowl of M&M’s in front of me, beware.  Haha.  I had the best time though… LOVE my crafty girls.

Wanna Sketch no. 9 is moving right along.  I can’t believe it will be a month already next Sunday.  Eeek.  You have till Friday to link up for this one.  I’ve loved visiting all the entries for the current Wanna sketch.  You all are so friggin’ creative.

It is about time I pop in with another sample for Wanna Sketch no. 9.  This weeks challenge at Simon Says Stamp is to use a clear or rubber stamp.  Easy enough right?  ha.  So I’m linking up my card there.

I have a bunch of 6×6 paper pads that need some loving.  So, I’ve pulled them out and got to work.  Today, I used the Adorbs, Cut & Paste by My Mind’s Eye.  Isn’t it sweet.  I love the wood grain paper included in this collection as well.  I covered my card with the flower paper and then decided to trim out a section for my sentiment.  I glued the sections down and then stamped my sentiment from THIS Avery Elle stamp set..

The tag is a file I created for my Silhouette Cameo.  I like the rounded top.  It seems softer than a normal squared off tag.  If you’d like the file you are welcome to download it by clicking on the graphic below.

The butterfly is a file in the Silhouette store and is linked below.

Eeek, have you seen some of the entries into the current Wanna Sketch?  They are super fabulous.  You still have till Friday to link up.  There are so many fun cards, so I thought I’d give you a peek at Chris’ entry…

inside: you look great {for an old bag}

Hahaha!  This is one of my favorite stamps from Unity.  LOVE how she used a kraft bag on the front of her card in place of the tag.  Come play along!!!

Are you ready to take this sketch on???  The linky will stay open until Friday, October 18 {11:55pm PT}.
Can’t wait to see what you come up with!

    What a sweet pretty card, Lisa! A bit of a contrast to Chris’s card that you highlighted… 😀
