[11.9.17] Unity Thursday
IT’S the BIGGEST EVENT of the YEAR for Unity… it’s BROWN THURSDAY. Lots of great new releases and the BEST sale of the year as well. If you haven’t been hopping along, all the action starts on the Unity blog. There’s always fun stuff going on.
I’m featuring the brand new November 2017 sentiment kit today.
I just love poinsettias. All the different colors available, but I just had to go with GOLD. I thought it paired well with the black and kraft. I stamped the flower 5 times to create the background and then used a Wink of Stella Gold pen to add some sparkle to the center flower. Super easy and such a lovely effect.

This is a completely different take. I went for a pink poinsettia look using Copic Markers to color in my image. Turned out a little more peachy, but I love the unexpected color.

Watched the glimmer pen video when first posted and loved it! I used that gold pen before and was alarmingly surprised at the amount of pigment it has! Never thought of using it alone! Also noticed use of non Christmas my minds eye paper….great ideas I’ll definitely use. Wonderful cards!
