A leafy Yoo Hoo!
This was a definite challenge for me from CPS. I don’t know why the angled center had given me such trouble, but once the idea came, I ran with it. I also submitted it to the Hero Arts Blog challenge to distress. The edges are inked to fulfill that requirement. I’m thinking this might become a Father’s Day card or my father-in-law’s birthday card. It has a nice masculine feel.
Here is another one of my owls from Hero Arts. I like how this little guy peeks through the punched out hole from the center of the card. He is a funky little owl, so cute.
Materials:
Patterned paper & cardstock: Close to my Heart
Stamps: Hero Arts (owl, yoo hoo and branch), Oriental Trading Co. (leaf)
Fiber: The Beadery Craft Products
Ink: Colorbox (dark brown, chestnut roan), Joann Craft Essentials (white)
Other: Sakura Souffle pen
charity hassel
