Color Inspiration #53
So my first attempt at a challenge this week led me to Kristina’s Color Inspiration #53. These are really bold colors and make me step outside of my box. As I tend to do, I went to my stash of patterned paper to see if I could get some sort of direction for this card.
Luckily, I found a Die Cuts With a View stack with the red and yellow patterned paper, plus solid blue cardstock to match. The bird is also cut out from some paper in the same stack. I used some Sakura Glaze pens to add a little glaze to the center of the flowers on the patterned paper and also to the little cut out bird. This helped to give it a little dimension and really made the colors a bit bolder. I used some white embossing powder on the “thanks” stamp.
Thanks for stopping by and taking a look.
