Sweet Sunday Sketch #20
So, I have been working on finding my mojo. It is really annoying when you just can’t seem to find the time or the motivation to sit down and create. Last night I just needed to do something. So I turned to one of my favorite bloggers, Karen Girdon, for a sketch challenge… Sweet Sunday Sketch #20. She has some of the greatest sketches and they fit my style so well.
So here he is… my little owl is back! Gotta turn to the old favorites when you wanna get your mojo back. He is just so darn adorable, how could you not want to make a card when he’s looking back at you.
To give the little guy some dimension, I use Sakura Souffle pens on the leaves and just some sharpies to color in the beak and feet. I also added some glitter glue to the eyes.
It feels good to make a card again. It may have been quick, but I had already spent 2 hours at Costco to find out I had a nail in my tire. Ugh. Good thing I was driving around all day on it. And how can there be a 2 hour wait on a Wednesday night??? That is what I am wondering. So a quick little card was just what I needed to relax and to find my mojo again.
Thanks for stopping by and taking a look.
