i {heart} pumpkins

It has been a busy time in our household.  My husband had surgery on his shoulder last Thursday and I don’t think I sat down until I went to work on Monday.  I’ve been his “right hand” and it has wore me out!  But I was still able to complete a couple cards over the weekend and this is one.

I found these cute autumn inspired $1 Recollections stamps at Michaels recently.  I don’t have many (if any) autumn themed stamps, so I couldn’t wait to play with them.  The “thinking of you” sentiment is from Unity Stamp Co.

I did a layering of ink to give the pumpkin some shading.  Then I did the same with the leaves and layered them.  The scalloped rectangle was cut from a Spellbinders die and the border punch is by Fiskars.
