Growing in Unity Day 2

{supplies: cs – Georgia-Pacific; pp – Kioshi (Basic Grey); stamps – August 2008 KOM (Unity); ink – Versafine; other – Baby Blue, Pastel Raspberry Liquid Pearls (Ranger), Prismacolor markers}

Welcome to day two of my week of Growing in Unity.

I pulled out an older stamp kit (older as in date, but still pretty new to me) from the August 2008 kit of the month.  This stamp is one of the main reasons I just had to have this KOM.  It is just too fun and I love sweets, so hello, made for me!  Haha.  And the indulge saying is perfect for a birthday card.

This clean and simple card is really deceiving.  I paper pieced a lot of the candy from one sheet of Kioshi paper.  LOTS of cutting.  But it was totally worth it.  I also added a little sparkle with some liquid pearls in pink and blue.  Which you can get at Limelight Papercrafts.  To finish it off, I did a little coloring with some Prismacolor markers.

Thanks for stopping by!  I’ll see you tomorrow for some more Unity fun!
