9.20.10 – H{ippity} Hop Goodness…

Hello H{ippity} Hoppers… Happy Monday to you!

What is Hippity Hop you ask???  Well, every Monday Ippity stampers get together to showcase these fabulous stamps.

This week Eryn challenged us to create a project using ANY SCS Sketch and Ippity stamps of course. To play along with the Hippity Hop challenge (IHHC42) make sure you upload your photo to the SCS gallery by Sunday night! You could win a prize if you play along!!!

{supplies: pp – Nook & Pantry (Basic Grey); stamps – Ippity; ribbon – Celebrate It!}

So I picked this sketch and really used it more as a general guideline.  Haha.  Sometimes I can use a sketch just as it is and then other times, I go off in a completely different direction.  Love that!  Love that it jump starts my creativity even though I don’t follow it exactly.   Really, what should stop anyone from doing their own thing?   Ahem, so back to the sketch and away from my justification for it not looking exactly like it.  Haha. The only major change is the center panels, they really needed to be tilted.  Really, they did!  They told me.

Can you see the Thoughts from the Past background postcard stamp on the yellow dp???  It didn’t photograph very well, but it is there in real life.  I wasn’t so sure how the Water Lily Ippity ink would look on top of the yellow dp, but I loved it!  And it matched with the Nook and Pantry patterned paper so well.

I am using these IPPITY stamp sets this week.

If you just popped into my blog, make sure you the check out the full list of hoppers on the Ippity blog.  I know there are lots of goodies to see!
