Ready for the FINAL twist!!!
Yip, we are already at the 4th and FINAL week for February’s Hippity Hop Twist Challenge (IHHTC2). Check out the Ippity blog for more deets.
RIBBON
Let’s use some ribbon.
I used the “post” stamp from Cherish Your Dreams to create my own background on kraft card stock. I like it and definitely will be doing this again. For some reason the idea of creating my own background scared me. But with help of my trusty Stamp-a-ma-jig, we got it done.
I layered a few more stamps from this set over the Thoughts From the Past postcard stamp. The little flowers were colored with a blender pen and some Unity ink.
Plus, I have been using my decorative scissors A LOT lately.
I went digging into the back of the closet to find them. And to think… I actually considered getting rid if these! Guess they are like bell bottoms… if you wait long enough it will come back in style. I used my deckle scissors on the postcard and my postage stamp scissors around the flower stamp.
The AMAZINGLY talented Lisa H. is next!!!!
stamps: Cherish Your Dreams, Thoughts From the Past {ippity}
patterned paper: Nook & Pantry (Basic Grey), A Walk in the Park (Echo Park)
tools: decorative scissors, ribbon (Celebrate It!), blender pen {Tombow},
Too funny! I have heard of a lot of people using decorative scissors lately and I have hauled mine out too! Bell bottoms, indeed!
