{03.21.2011} take two day one
Yay for DAY ONE of TAKE TWO WEEK!
{my Hippity Hop post will be up a little later}
Today, Emily from Art♥from♥the♥Heart and I start our week of showing our two takes on the same unity stamps. I met Emily while she was the Unity Guest Designer for last term. I love her style, LOVE HER and we BOTH love Unity. So every day this week we are going to use the same stamp set and show how we ROCK our own styles with the same stamps.
OUR “rules”: we each will use ONE Unity or Ippity set that is the same and have the option to use additional sets {if needed}. But we really wanted to make the shared set the focus.
Prizes: Make sure you leave comments on both our blogs. I’ll be giving away 2 watermarks (one from comments left on my blog and one from Emily’s) and we have 6 stamp sets (one for each set we use and an extra for Emily’s growing in Unity week) to give away as well!
YES, EIGHT prizes!!!
Angela, the owner of Unity Stamp Company, has so GENEROUSLY given us a stamp set a day to give away!!! I can’t tell you how thankful I am to be apart of the Unity/Ippity DT family and that is because of Angela. She is the so kind, so generous and SO inspiring! There is heart behind this fabulous rubber!
So make sure you comment on both blogs so you have double the chances to win.
Up today… Ippity’s Cuppy Cakes stamp set.
Oh, how I adore these cupcakes. Just by changing the colors or patterns, you can create such a fun little card. This time I used some Basic Grey papers, LOTS of paper piecing and a little shading with a Copic marker. The cupcake “topper” is stuck into the cupcake with a toothpick.
If you love cupcakes, you totally need this set! ha. {Ippity} is only sold through an {ippity} chick and you can find one here…
Also, Lisa H. and I are blogging on the Unity blog today too! You will want to check that out as well… Lisa and I have our own little dual card challenge going on as well.
I’ll be back a little later with my Hippity hop post. Wow, such a big fun day ahead!
Click the button below to check out what EMILY has up for today too!!!
Don’t forget to leave a comment today (and everyday) for your chance at a Cuppy Cakes stamp set!
Emily and I will be back tomorrow for day TWO!
