{4.28.2011} hip hop
Hip Hoppin’ today!
Thursdays are so much fun. I’m loving these shorter hops, how about you? Still full of Unity inspiration, but JAM PACKED into a shorter hop. Woo hoo! If you didn’t get to start at the beginning of the hop, you will want to pop on over to the Unity blog.
Unity is RETIRING some stamp sets and you will definitely want to check them all out HERE. You’ll want to get your faves before they are gone… they disappear after TODAY!!!
I have a card to share made from the Sweet Yummy Cupcakes stamp set that is being retired.
Do you have a hard time thinking of what to do with those collage sheets included in paper pads? Well, here is an idea for you. I cut 4 different sized strips from one piece and used them on my background. I let the patterns determine how wide my strips would be.
I love that sweet sentiment and debated whether or not to color it. I think it would be super cute to color, but I had so many patterns going on, I thought I would keep it simple. That little bit of twine added the last bit of whimsy needed.
I am super excited to send you over to Maren’s blog next!!!!
stamps: Sweet Yummy Cupcakes {unity}
patterned paper: neighborhood collection {crate paper}
die cuts & punches: scallop circle {mcgill}, corner chomper
other: white gel pen {uniball}, baker’s twine {twinery}
