Happy Sunday.

I hope you are all enjoying your weekend.  We have a LONG weekend in the states as we celebrate our independence day tomorrow.  So we have been relaxing and will have a nice quiet day with friends tomorrow.

I have a little card to share with you today.

You might have seen this card on the CREATE: blog! {I always get giddy when I see one of my cards on that blog} for the last challenge to bling it up!  Well, not only did I get inspiration for the bling from them, but I also loved the color combo from the Paper Crafts Color Inspiration Challenge #6.

I wish my photo was better.  I was having a hard time picking up the grey.

I am using the better together July 2011 kit of the month by Unity.  There are a ton of great images in this set.

  6. Hi Lisa, I love this card. It’s so nice to see a sympathy card with a bit of colour on it. I know when my Dad died I’d have loved to have seen something happy! Beautiful job and congrats on being featured over at CARDS, I must send some more bits over there again. It’s accordian flowers this week, I need to find a tutorial for them. Happy Sunday!

  15. I DID admire this on the CREATE blog, but I’m happy to admire it again here! You’ve also shown me that bling on a sympathy card can work when done right.
