Unity Blog Hop - Unity Stamp Company

{11.10.11} another fun hip hop

Unity + Creative Imaginations = Beauty

We’ve been hopping with Creative Imaginations all week.  TODAY, we dedicate the entire HIP HOP to the combination of these companies.  Lots of great inspiration already.  CI has some beautiful papers to go along with lots of beautiful co-brand stamps.  If you didn’t start at the beginning of the hop, make sure you head over to the Unity blog for all the deets.

I’m using some fun Samantha Walker papers and stamps today to create this card.

The papers and stickers are from the Heidi collection along with the stamps from the Ornate Artisan Stackers set by Unity.  I adore using those large scrapbook circles on cards.  The shapes are always so interesting and make decorating cards so quick and easy.  LOVE these great fun colors and patterns in the papers.  They match the Samantha Walker stamps so well.

I’m using the Spellbinder matching dies (Ornate Artisan and Harvest) as well.  How could I not when the shapes match the stamps so well.  The white embossing powder and gel pen just add the pop it needs.

I couldn’t stop at just this card.  It needed a friend.

With some of the new gift cards being so big and all plastic, I designed a new larger gift card holder to fit it.  The bow is actually tied to the gift card through the hole they use to hang them.  Super fun.  Basically, I cut a strip of 4″ x 12″ card stock and then scored in half.  Placed the gift card inside to see how far I needed to trim down and punched half a 1 inch circle out of the top.  Then I used small square foam dots along the edges to give plenty of room for the gift card to slide in and out.

Don’t forget to leave a comment on all the blogs for your chance to win a prize!

That is all from me today, off you go to Maren’s blog!!!!
