{12.21.2011} happy birthday…

To my hubby

Today is my husband’s birthday.  Shhhhh, it is a secret.  Ha.  He isn’t big into celebrating it.  I always leave him a birthday card by his wallet before he goes to work.  He leaves early, so usually I am still asleep when he finds it.

I used the sketch from the current Hero Arts sketch challenge.  This Formula Fun background stamp was so made for my husband.  He is always thinking of the next great invention.  Love that about him and he is always jotting down ideas or working on something.  I combined it with some School Days paper by Crate Paper and the sentiment from Messages.

Hope he liked it.

So, I’m doing another fridge appointment today.  Apparently, they had to order the door to replace it.  REALLY?  A small detail that was not mentioned when I talked about the scratch in the DOOR that had to be replaced when I scheduled the appointment.  Ha.  What can you do.  So hopefully today ends my fridge dramas.  Geez.  I’m sure you will all be happy to hear that as well.  Ha.

 Have a super wonderful Wednesday.

  1. I love your hubby’s bday card, Lisa. I needed that stamp when I was trying to think of a clever Christmas card for Will’s math teacher! LOL!
I am so sorry you are still having fridge drama. We have a kitchen aid fridge. We bought it new when we built our house. I thought it would last forever since it was a “top of the line” fridge, but we have had it worked on more than any appliance I have ever owned! I feel your pain, girl! 🙂

  2. awesome guy card, lisa! hb to your husband! sorry about the new fridge–they just don’t make them like they use to:(

    have a wonderful christmas:)

  3. Such a special card, for your husband, Lisa!! It’s gorgeous!! I’m trying to work out the formula background – it seems like a million years ago since I did such math. haha..

  4. Love this card 🙂 Isn’t it awesome when you find just the right thing for the right person? Yay!
ANd appliance drama…I feel your pain, I do. We had a front-load washer that ended up costing about 1200 bucks before we finally gave up on it & just got a new one. ANd don’t get me started on the glass-top stove…grrr….
