{2.15.2012} hearts with a twist

Unity Challenge Time

We have a brand new Unity Challenge starting today!

This month’s challenge is to use NO red or pink with HEARTS!

I’m using the current Stamp of the Week.

This is a fabulous challenge post Valentine’s Day.  I don’t know about you, but I need a little break from pink and red.  But hearts, I can never get enough of.

I initially made this card without anyone in mind.  Just wanted to use that yummy stamp.  And when I showed it to my hubby, a light bulb went off.  I knew just the right person who needed it.  One of my goals this year is not to be a card hoarder.  To give them away more.  It really does feel good when you hand someone a card you made just because.  That is what card making is all about.  Making someone else feel loved.

The BIG prize is for
100 random stamps AND
a free kit of your choice valued at $45 or under!!!

Check out all the deets and to play along HERE!

I love this! That is a great sentiment, too. I know a lot of people who could use a pick-me-up that that stamp!

That’s so cool to see the hearts stamped on the patterned paper (and no red or pink!). I love the other sentiment on the stamp, too. 🙂 Glad you’re going to send this little beauty off to someone!

I love how the chevron pattern is subtle in the background! What a great idea to not use pink or red!
