May 2012 Fresh Baked Kit
Portobello Road

Paper Made Bakery has released their new kit for this month.  The design team is hopping with some fresh new cards with our brand new kit.  You will find lots of fabulous inspiration along the way.  If you came here from Michelle’s blog, you’re in the right place.  If you would like to start from the beginning of the hop, head over to the Paper Made Bakery blog!

Just look at this AMAZING kit.

So soft and romantic.  This kit features lots of wonderful Pink Paislee stamps, papers and die cuts.  Plus, perfectly matched buttons, ribbons and embellishments.

*sigh*

The lovely colors and romantic vintage patterns just make me sigh.  They are so soothing and calming.  Vintage and shabby are not my usual styles, but this kit made it so easy for me to step outside my style.  I decided to feature that large label stamp.  It reminds me of a wine bottle for some reason, but I’m guessing it might have been a vintage label for something else.  I’ve never used crepe paper on a card, but let me tell you, it was so easy to ruffle and stitch it to this on.  I covered the stitching with some of the lovely green ribbon also in the kit.  A few more stamped elements and a button finished it off.  The pearls did not come with this month’s kit, but I had some left over from February’s kit (a few kits are still available HERE).

I have an Scraps Unwrapped video for today as well.  This our first peek at the new kit together.

Up NEXT is Ashley

  1. oh my goodness, totally loving this kit and your card!! love the layering of the crepe paper, banner, button, and butterfly 🙂

  2. What a lovely and romantic card! I was wondering about how to use that large stamp. The crepe ruffle and butterfly is adorable.

  3. Love that you shared that video! What a beautiful card, just what the sentiment says, sweet!

  4. Thanks for the video; it is fun to see what the kit includes. By the way, your card is great!

  5. Yummy & delicious! It makes me think of a wine label too! And I just found some of that thin crepe paper, and it works really nicely & is so lightweight. I had to go back & get every.single.colour they had, just in case. You know, in case of a crepe paper emergency? They happen.

  6. Such a wonderful kit and a fabulous card, Lisa!! Great design and love that butterfly!! Nicely done!!
