Print Candee

Digi time!

Welcome to this month’s Print Candee creative team blog hop!!!  I’m excited to kick off this creative hop and our sweet team will point you in the right direction as you hop along.  Today our theme revolves around an inspiration photo.  A really COOL one at that.

Grungy cool right?  So many sources for inspiration… grunge effect, numbers, the colors, masculine, maybe feminine, birthday, anniversary and more.  I can’t wait to see what the other girls have up their sleeves.

I ended up with two cards today.  Here is my first one.

As I was browsing the Print Candee store, I noticed this fabulous flower paper with the perfect colors for the challenge.  I used some grunge brushes to ‘dirty’ it up and to match the inspiration photo.

At the last minute, I had another idea and ran with it.  I recolored the chevron paper to match the photo colors and created the color block strip in Photoshop.

Up next is the fabulous Kalyn.
In case you get lost along the way, here is the full blog hop list.

  1. Lisa, I moustache you, how do you rock so hard? Both of these are simply awesome! Love the 40th birthday – the ‘grunge’ is just the right touch! – and MOUSTACHE! 🙂

  2. These two cards are so cool! I just wish that my printer was working again so that I could purchase some PC goodies and use them!

  3. You rock!! You know I love a good ‘stache and the chevrons and colorblocking–swoon! I love how you grunged up the flowers. You are a digi master! 🙂

  4. These are SO Fabulous, Lisa!! Love the colours and the fun designs, esp the moustache. Very cute!!

  5. Both look awesome Lisa. I particularly like how you have ‘grunged’ up the first one. Very clever! And chevrons….sigh….who doesn’t love chevrons?

  6. Great colours! Love the flowers & the funky 40 on the first one. Amazing chevrons on the second one.
