feeling the LOVE today

Yep, our favorite day is here again. Time to Hip Hop with the Unity design team. If you didn’t start at the beginning of the hop, make sure you head over to the Unity blog. I’m sharing love cards today. Well, it is Valentine’s Day don’tcha know.

AND…

We have big exciting news today!!! We have REVAMPED our challenges into the AMAZING

Unity {be inspired} Challenge.

With our new challenge you have 3 sources of inspiration. You can do one or any combination of all three. For my card, I focused on the card sketch for today.

I’m using some of my fave stamps… washi this love and owl be yours forever.I’ve been on a run of just stamping lately. I also love to stamp on patterned paper. The patterned paper gives the card little something extra that plain cardstock does not. All the while we are still clean and simple. As long as the patterns are simple and soft it won’t compete with the stamped images.

We also have some HAPPY HOUR fun this weekend too.

HIP HOP COMMENT PRIZE:Don’t forget to leave a comment on each blog today. We’ll be giving away 3 prizes from comments left on the design team’s blogs.

That is all from me, head on over to the amazing Natalie next!!!!

Here are the list of blogs hopping today.

  1. The washi tape is perfect for that pop of color! And owls are one of my favorites so what’s not to like about this card! Happy Valentine’s Day!

  2. I love that you stamped on patterned paper! I love the look of it and have seen it often, but I never think to do it myself… Great card!

  3. Love the look you demo’d of stamping on patterned paper and that owl is just sweet! you rocked the sketch for sure!

  4. Great card, I love love the washi tape. I always thought stamping on patterned cardstock was tricky, but love your card.
