{7.15.2013} queen bee
Psssst… this week’s Stamp of the Week at Unity is flipping fantastic. I love a good pun and when you add in a vintage image, I’m super happy.
Isn’t it cute?
I’ve been on a coloring kick. I’ve pretty much used all my different mediums in the last two weeks (copics, colored pencils and watercolors). Today, I pulled out my Prismacolor colored pencils. I colored in around the bees and crown with pencils and then punched the bees out with a label punch. I wanted to stay away from the usual yellow and black and went with navy and coral. I’m kinda diggin’ it, what do you think?
I’m submitting this birthday card to the Birthday Card Challenge in the Moxie Fab World.

I think it’s FABULOUS! Of course the temptation is to go for yellow, but the unexpected combo makes this pop even more. LOVE!
