{7.21.2013} wanna sketch no. 7
I’m seriously loving all the great entries for Wanna Sketch. It thrills me to no end to see how one little sketch can give everyone such different ideas. It is so hard to pick just a few to give a shout out to, I really adore them all. Here are the highlights from Wanna Sketch #6.
Judith was entry #2 and her little bunny just captured my heart. I love how she used the center panel to feature her birthday bunny and I’m totally ok with her moving her sentiment banner down below. It absolutely works.
Ok, I think the cuteness factor on this little cow is off the Richter scale!!! So super adorable. Shannon went literal with the sketch and it turned out darling! The addition of the embossed cardstock over the patterned paper was a great way to balance out the busy polka dot paper.
I was blown away by Andrea’s card. Isn’t it beautiful? I love all the layered stamping and the citrus colors. I also thought the masked center for the sentiment was a brilliant interpretation of the sketch. Plus, she made the circles by flipping over her clear stamps and inking up the backside. Genius!
Thank you to these lovely ladies and to all who linked up. I hope you’ll play along this month as well.
I kept this one fairly simple and true to the sketch… just stamps, paper, embossing and a little twine. The large tag makes for a big impact on such a simple card. Plus, that butterfly is stunning.
Are you ready to take this sketch on??? The linky will stay open until Friday, August 16th {11:55pm}.

[…] This also works for TammieE' & dini's challenges, too. And I used the latest sketch over at Wanna Sketch. Phew! Have to say, that's probably the most challenges I've ever combined on one card!! Thanks […]
