Happy 4th of July to my American Friends.
It is a special Unity Thursday hop today. We are releasing a few military sets in order to send our love to our troops. They do so much to ensure our freedom, a little card is the least I can do to show my support. If you have been hopping you should have arrived from Joslyn‘s blog, if not, all the action starts on the Unity blog.
There are several little sentiments being released. You are sure to find the perfect one, or two or three. This one is just simply perfect. The background is from a digital kit by Echo Park. I just spaced out the star lines (leaving a little space for the sentiment) in Photoshop and then printed out my card. I stamped the sentiment directly on the card. Then I stamps the stars, cut them out and popped them up on the card. I couldn’t help but add the sequins. I know, I know… probably too sparkly, but I thought it would mimic shining stars or fireworks. And they are gold… told you I couldn’t put them down. Heehee.
Next, I combined the HERO sentiment with the dog tags from the other set. Super quick simple card, but love how it turned out. I refrained from the bling this time. 🙂

Love both of these cards. Do the stars work with any of the star dies that are out there?
Hi Shannon, I can tell you they were not designed to work with any specific die out there since I designed them. But, I just checked with the Spellbinder Stars Five that I have and they would work. They may not be perfect, but could definitely be used together. Hope that helps.
