[12.28.2014] paper smooches SPARKS
Boy, did this month fly by fast. This is my last week to guest design with the Paper Smooches SPARKS challenge!!! I’ve seriously had a blast playing along. A great big THANK YOU to Paper Smooches for letting me play along.
This week’s challenge…
I have this thing about switching up sketches, which they are good for. You take the bones of the sketch and then make it yours. I made a tall card instead of a landscape card and then tilted my patterned paper at an angle over top, like the sketch. Next, I did some masking with the deer from Happy Camper and the flowers from Blossoming Buds. I used two different sentiments from Happy Camper and Birthday Sampler to create my sentiment. After stamping, I used my Cameo Pixscan mat to cut out the talk bubble and flowers with deer. I colored everything with Copics and added some sparkle with a Wink of Stella pen. Last, I tied a little bow on my deer to mimic the bow from the sketch.

OMG OMG OMG!! I LOVE This Card!! Such an AWESOME Flip/Take on the sketch!! I also REALLY LOVE what you did with the Deer and Blossoming Flowers Stamp!! That is so COOL how you were able to cut it all out with a border on your Cameo!!
