Time for some more THURSDAY fun with the Unity design team and Operation Write Home. We have a great big blog hop to celebrate a special release for Unity. If you haven’t been hopping along, all the action starts on the Unity blog. There’s always fun stuff going on.
What a big day, I’m so excited we are hoping with Operation Write Home. It is such a wonderful organization. They are always supporting our troops with means to communicate with their loved ones or with notes of support to our HEROS. While their need has slowed down, that doesn’t mean it isn’t still there. And the new Unity kit Ragged Old Flag (and the other releases this week) is so perfect.
I just had to use that heart flag. I added some watercolor with Distress Inks. They create such bold and beautiful colors. Once it was dry, I adhered it to my black card base and then added the thanks die cut from gold foil cardstock.
As part of this weekend’s sale, lots of past kit club stamp sets are on sale. Here are a few of my cards from one of my favorite Kits of the Month: May 2014 KOM – Hey Girl. It is so hard to pick just one fave, each month is amazing.
