[9.29.16] Unity Thursday
Unity Thursday
Happy THURSDAY my friends. It is time to hop with the Unity design team. If you haven’t been hopping along, all the action starts on the Unity blog. This hop is always full of amazing things to see and of course, Unity is famous for amazing deals.
I have a few projects to share from this month. A little bit of everything.
I’m starting with this one because I just think it is so pretty. This set of cards features the lovely August 2016 Sentiment kit I Consider You Special. I love how easy it is to make the sentiment the feature of the card. This simple design is perfect for mass producing some cards for different occasions. They are super flat and easy to mail. But if you wanted to get a little wild, the simple design lends itself to a little sprucing up with more layers and embellishments. The doily and sentiment were stamps on vellum, die cut out, layered over a paper doily and then tied all together with some string. So super easy.
I have a quick video showing how this card was put together.
Isn’t this just adorable? I love this happy little mug from One Little Latte. I am partial to coffee, but it could easily be full of tea or cocoa in my house too. It is absolutely PERFECT to decorate a gift card holder.
I have a quick video showing how this gift card was put together.
Last, I have this set of man friendly cards using For the Guys. When it comes to making a card for a guy, I always go simple. I like simple stamps, simple layers and simple embellishments. This stamp set is perfect for that design and such a variety of images and sentiments for lots of occasions. Birthday, thank you, promotion, retirement, just because… this set can be used in all sorts of combinations to fit your need.
